Which is more important? To be right or to be effective?
Many of us insist so much on being right and so we expend so much energy and effort in its pursuit to the point where we lose sight of the reason we want to be right in the first place; which is to be EFFECTIVE.
To be right or to be effective are not mutually exclusive but in situations where it is one or the other,
I choose the latter.
At least temporarily.
(PS: To be right is different from doing the right thing in my opinion)
